What Akagum is and isn't
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Akagum is a guide, not an advisor. It doesn't tell you what to buy, where to put your money or what to do about a loan. It helps you see your own money clearly.
What Akagum does
- Shows what you have, owe, earn and spend, in any currency, using exchange rates from public sources.
- Does the arithmetic against a goal you set: how far along it is, what's left, and how long that takes at your current pace.
- Points out patterns in your own numbers, such as a subscription you haven't used or spending that has moved, tied to your goal.
What Akagum doesn't do
- It doesn't give financial, investment, credit, tax, insurance, pension or legal advice.
- It doesn't recommend banks, lenders, investments, insurers or any other product or provider.
- It doesn't tell you which debt to pay first, whether to take a loan, or what to invest in.
- It can't move, hold or transfer your money. It is read-only.
- It isn't regulated as a bank, payment service, investment firm or adviser.
Know the limits
- Your figures are only as good as what you entered or imported.
- Exchange rates are indicative and can differ from what a bank or transfer service gives you.
- AI replies can be wrong. Check anything important.
- For a decision that matters, such as borrowing, investing, tax or debt trouble, speak to a qualified, regulated professional or an independent advice service in your country.
